“The Woman in Action Huddle has been very supportive to the First Parish Newbury Food Pantry, a 100% volunteer pantry, by providing financial and product support. Thirty percent of the food and personal care items we give out at the pantry come from community donations. The Huddle group has been sensitive to the need of elders needing incontinent products, which are expensive for folks on a fixed income. Along with improved hygiene, they help to maintain the elder’s dignity. The pantry now carries these products routinely after donations from the Huddle helped to set the standard. ”
